Design and architecture magazine Ottagono

Ottagono

design and architecture magazine

Created by eight important Italian producers who wanted to promote high quality in industrial design, the architecture and design magazine Ottagono through the performing of its activity becomes an international product of editorial design. Issued to subscribers in sixty-five countries worldwide, it is also sold in news agencies.

The magazine aims to diffuse information about technical and stylistic design aspects while making a special effort to avoid creating or promoting trends that may result in a distorted representation of the themes dealt with. That is a risk which, as a mass-media tool, even an architecture and design magazine is exposed to.

Directed by the philosopher, historians, and theorist Aldo Colonetti, scientific director of the Istituto Europeo del Design of Rome (the capital of Italy), Milan, Turin, Madrid (the capital of Spain), and Barcellona, the magazine Ottagono consists on a vast introductive part inclusive of every applicative design field, in-depth sections, special reportages, events, novelties, and other informational material articulated around countless design issues or design related themes.

The subjects that the magazine deals with include news about the most important Italian or international design schools, fair and exhibition reportages, and plenty of information about the architectural world.
