Cloud - (Non Produced) (2009)

Unlike many famous creative objects, the Cloud has reached notability without having been
produced. It is the drawing of an innovative product of design that will be placed on the top of a light
weight, yet wind proofed tower that will be built for the purpose.
Its most innovative feature will be the capability of producing electric power thanks to the photovoltaic sensors of the inflatable spheres that will form it. The stored electricity will probably be enough to serve all the Eastern area of London.
The team of the project is hoping to receive the economical support that it needs for realising this artefact
from donors. The size of the Cloud will depend on the amount of money that it will manage to
gather. For the purpose it has launched a web site called Raise The Cloud that offers information about the project's mission. Among the participants is the Italian semiologist Umberto Eco.
The Cloud wants to be a promise of safety for the ecology of the Earth.
