Braun is the name of a manufacturer of consumer electric products which was founded in 1921 in Frankfort, Germany.
Its founder, Max Braun, was initially oriented towards the production of components for radio transistors - which were among the emerging appliances of that period - but after two years led its firm towards the creation of its own products; these were radio transistors, record players, electric shavers and others. The company gradually reached the creation of a well-positioned brand which today is among the most important ones of its field.
